CLOUD ARCHITECT

We are working with a growing Finnish technology consulting company. With a team of almost 50 talented professionals, they are passionate about helping businesses leverage technology to drive transformation. They're currently looking for an experienced Cloud Architect Consultant to join their team and work on a variety of interesting and challenging cloud projects.
First, let’s cover the basics;
Mostly remote work in Finland with occasional travel, no more than once a month, to their office in Helsinki.
Salary range of 5500 - 6400€ per month with great benefits.
Travel? Occasional travel in Finland, depending on the project.
Company languages are Finnish and English, both required for the job.

What you'll be doing?
- Design and implement cloud architectures using mainly AWS and Azure, leveraging best practices for scalability, security, and performance to meet the unique needs in a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external project teams to assess, design, and deploy cloud-based solutions, utilizing DevOps principles and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
- Architect and optimize cloud infrastructures for both IaaS and PaaS models, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions.
- Guide and mentor new team members as the company grows, sharing best practices for cloud technologies.
- Work on challenging projects, including cloud migrations, application modernization, and serverless computing.
- Work remotely (from Finland), on-site in Helsinki or which ever model works best for your situation.
What we hope you’d bring in:
- Strong experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role with expertise in AWS and Azure
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions, including IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Experience with DevOps practices and building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, with experience designing and managing containerized environments in the cloud.
- Experience with microservices architectures, serverless, and cloud-native application design.
- Strong understanding of cloud security with experience implementing secure cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in consulting environment or working in different client projects
- Very good communication skills

1st - Introduction interview
Before your first interview with the client, we’ll provide key information about the process, tips for preparation, recommended blog posts, and more to help you succeed. The client interview is conducted either remotely or at their office is a 1-hour informative discussion where you have the opportunity to discuss your experience and expectation. You'll hear about their culture, future plans and more in-detail information about job. You'll also briefly discuss your technical skills.
2nd - Technical interview
During the technical interview you'll meet two of your future colleagues, the CTO and a fellow architect. You'll discuss cloud architectures, DevOps, CI/CD, security and more.
3rd - Final interview
The last step of the process is a team interview with two potential colleagues to discuss your working style and expectations and they'll tell you all about how the company runs their projects and collaborates with their clients.
